Job Description:

We are an Accounting Firm offering bookkeeping, financial and tax services to multiple clients in the Real Estate and Construction industry.

Job Responsibility:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for company and clients
Review work of bookkeeping staff for accuracy
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements
Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
Communicate directly with clients on needs of the company, troubleshoot issues that arise on client’s accounts and provide feedback and training to the bookkeeping staff
Assist management team on process improvements for clients
Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances

Requirements:

Proven experience as senior accountant/assistant controller or other similar position
Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, Sage. etc..)
Well-organized with ability to prioritize
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred
Professional certification (e.g. ) is a plus
