Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr Accountant to join our team in Shreveport, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and utilizing accounting software systems to maintain accurate records. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those well-versed in auditing, entity formation, and financial statement preparation.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize a variety of Accounting Software Systems to maintain and update financial records
Conduct regular auditing procedures to ensure financial compliance
Process and maintain entity formation documents and records
Prepare and review complex financial statements for accuracy and compliance
Utilize CaseWare, CCH IntelliConnect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH ProSystem Fx for various accounting functions
Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting functions and improve efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr Accountant
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
Experience with CaseWare software is a must
Familiarity with CCH IntelliConnect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH ProSystem Fx is necessary
A strong understanding of all Accounting Functions is essential
Previous experience in Auditing is required
Demonstrated ability in Compliance tasks is essential
Experience in Entity Formation is considered a significant asset
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements is a must
