Job Description:

The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting and providing collaborative demand signal to support manufacturing, distribution, and inventory planning. The position involves leading monthly S&OP processes, refining demand forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and improving business processes using analytics and forecasting methods.

Job Responsibility:

Own, lead and drive cross-functional monthly planning rhythm
Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings with cross functional leaders
Uncover, support and lead issue identification and cross-functional resolution
Utilize advanced analytics to manage significant and complex product portfolio
Analyze sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare and refine forecasts
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance leaders on portfolio changes and forecasts
Provide volume input to Supply Planning organization
Recommend and implement enhancements to business processes and operational efficiencies
Use planning software as the primary forecasting system tool
Deliver training and coaching, process improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required
Master’s degree preferred
APICS certification is preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain planning, including specific experience in demand planning, S&OP, identifying planning process improvements, training and coaching team members/colleagues
Extensive knowledge and experience in demand planning processes, techniques and methodologies
Knowledge of software related to demand planning is preferred
Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office
Advanced mathematical and/or statistical abilities including forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
Advanced analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills
Significant knowledge and proven ability to establish strong relationships across different parts of the organization
Ability to influence peers, and leaders within ISC, Commercial, Finance at all levels of the organization
Prior SIOP process and working experience in leading S&OP or leading Demand Review
Business domain experience in the supported process and technology (RapidResponse and Tableau) areas (nice to have)
Collaborative but able to challenge and influence external insights/inputs and stakeholders
Well-organized, clear presenter, and high level of attention to detail
