Job Description:

This role involves financial oversight, ledger maintenance, reconciliation tasks, and leadership opportunities while working as a Sr. Accountant for Robert Half in Yarmouth, Maine.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage general ledger activities
perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
conduct balance sheet reconciliations
review and process bank reconciliations
prepare and post journal entries for the month-end close process
utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reports and special projects
ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly financial information
manage the preparation and submission of sales tax returns

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Account Reconciliation
ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation tasks efficiently
accuracy in handling Bank Reconciliations
comprehensive knowledge of managing General Ledger
precise Journal Entry skills
advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
experience with Month End Close activities
proficiency in QuickBooks software
familiarity with preparing Sales Tax Returns
