Job Description:

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Sandy. As a Sr. Accountant, you will undertake a variety of tasks such as account reconciliations, maintaining product standard costs, executing monthly close, and supporting internal/external audits among others.

Job Responsibility:

Undertake GL Account Reconciliations utilizing the Blackline Application
Update Standard Costs for products regularly
Ensure the correct Sales Cutoff is maintained
Handle transactions within the SAP S4 Hana system
Execute the monthly close procedure
Record Consolidation Entries for the company on a monthly basis
Enter assigned Journal Entries

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary
Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential
Must be adept at working with the General Ledger
Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries is a must
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Month End Close procedures is required
