This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting pursuant to accounting standards. You will be expected to work closely with various departments to enhance financial processes and aid in decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day general ledger activities
Maintain accurate financial records and perform cost structure analysis
Assist in the management of accounts payable activities
Monitor manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation
Manage cost accounting processes
Ensure adherence to state and local sales and USE tax regulations
Support in financial planning activities
Assist with external audits
Contribute to improving financial processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency
Collaborate with the Controller in financial analysis
Requirements:
Minimum of three years of experience in a senior accounting role
Proficiency in account reconciliation
Experience in balance sheet reconciliation
Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations
Demonstrable experience with general ledger operations
Capability to perform and manage journal entries
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in managing month-end close procedures
