Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity in Honolulu, Hawaii for a Sr. Accountant. The focus of this role is to ensure the accurate preparation and consolidation of financial statements and analyses. The Sr. Accountant will also play a crucial role in maintaining the general ledger's accuracy, preparing tax schedules, and providing assistance to other accountants.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accurate recording of transactions into the general ledgers and maintain the Fixed asset module for assets placed in service
Generate depreciation and amortization schedules and reconcile them to the general ledger
Assist in the preparation of cost center budgets and administrative detail budgets
Prepare audit worksheets as required and assist in the preparation of monthly project staff reports showing detailed revenue and expense figures with comparisons to the budget and the prior year
Assist with the preparation of the monthly reporting package and maintain cash receipts and sales journals
Compute and journalize expenses, including depreciation, expense accounts, allocations, sales commissions, and prepare billings as required
Ensure the accuracy of transactions and accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts, review sales contracts, and verify closing statements
Prepare revenue and expense reconciliations as required and make corrections to accounts under supervision

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Mastery of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Strong background in Bank Reconciliations
Expertise in General Ledger management
Experience with Journal Entries
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Month End Close processes
Knowledge of NetSuite software
Experience with Oracle
