Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Puyallup, Washington area. This role will be primarily focused on executing and managing various accounting tasks in a manufacturing setting. The selected candidate will be tasked with maintaining and reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards
Prepare and adjust journal entries as needed to reflect accurate financial transactions
Perform account reconciliations, including bank account and balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure financial accuracy
Utilize Frontier & SAP systems to manage and track financial data
Monitor and review financial data for accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
Ensure all accounting activities adhere to GAAP standards
Collaborate with the Finance Director to improve financial processes and systems
Contribute to the expansion of the accounting department

Requirements:

Proficiency in General Accounting is necessary for this role
Must be experienced in handling General Ledger operations
Ability to prepare and adjust Journal Entries is required
Experience in Account Reconciliation is essential
Should be adept at Bank Account Reconciliation
Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a must
Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is required
