Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the high tech engineering industry, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are seeking a Sr. Accountant who is detail-oriented and highly organized to join our team. Your primary tasks will involve maintaining accurate financial records, processing account reconciliations, and resolving account related inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process and maintain customer credit applications
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger
Prepare and post Journal Entries as required
Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
Ensure the Month End Close process is completed in a timely and accurate manner
Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Hi Tech Engineering industry
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Experience in Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with General Ledger
Ability to handle Journal Entries efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Month End Close procedures
Experience in using NetSuite
Knowledge of Oracle
Familiarity with SAP
