Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Matthew, North Carolina. Working in our team, you will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your role will involve tasks such as cash reconciliation, assistance with check run approvals, and handling a variety of ad-hoc and monthly items. You will also be coordinating with other Accountants, and AP/AR to close out modules in ERPs.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accuracy of daily cash reconciliation and entries across multiple operating entities and bank accounts
Assist with the approval process during weekly check runs
Handle a variety of ad-hoc and monthly items, including cash transfers, journal entries, and month-end processes
Undertake intercompany transactions to ensure smooth financial operations
Collaborate with AP/AR and other Accountants to close out modules in ERP’s
Engage in system implementation and transition to Infor LN from Business Central 365 & Elliott
Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer inquiries promptly
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting is required
Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations is necessary
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in handling general ledger and journal entries is needed
Proficiency in using Excel for various accounting tasks is required
Experience with month-end close procedures is necessary
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central is a necessity
Experience with Infor software will be considered an advantage
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
