Job Description:

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to strengthen our team near DFW Airport. This role is pivotal in our retail industry operations, as it includes managing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and responding to customer inquiries. You will also be entrusted with the task of monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.

Job Responsibility:

Execute all designated month-end duties and adhere to reporting schedules
Oversee and manage inventory, including fuel inventory
Document acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
Organize and conduct routine physical inventory counts and reconciliations
Evaluate asset usage and propose recommendations for effective asset management
Establish and document procedures to boost efficiency and precision
Guarantee compliance with both company policies and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
Oversee the effectiveness of internal controls for closing routine processes and other general accounting processes, including the upkeep of risk and control scorecards
Ensure prompt and precise preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports and statements, including internal reports for global consolidations
Collaborate closely with both internal and external auditors on financial audits

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Month End Close procedures
Familiarity with Inventory Accounting and Inventory Analysis
