Job Description:

The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for important accounting tasks such as maintaining precise records, processing applications, and resolving inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications
Maintain and manage comprehensive customer credit records
Address and resolve customer inquiries in a prompt and detail-oriented manner
Closely monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions
Record expense allocations, accruals, and month-end true-ups
Oversee the preparation and posting of journal entries
Perform balance sheet accounts review and reconciliation on a monthly basis
Gather, analyze, and input data to the general ledger system
Carry out bank reconciliations
Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
Employ AS400 in performing accounting functions
Conduct month-end close activities in an accurate and timely manner

Requirements:

Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations
Sound understanding of General Ledger management
Proficiency in Journal Entries
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Month End Close activities
Familiarity with the AS400 system
