Job Description:

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry in Charleston, South Carolina. This role will focus on project accounting and technical aspects, with the opportunity to oversee two direct reports. A strong background in audit and financial reporting is essential for this role.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage project accounting functions
Provide technical accounting support for complex business transactions
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the management team
Ensure compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS
Manage and supervise two direct reports
Work closely with the management team to improve financial procedures and systems
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Maintain accurate customer credit records
Process customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in a similar role within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry
Advanced knowledge of Financial Reporting
Familiarity with IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds
Proficiency in US GAAP
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High level of integrity and professionalism
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Nice to have:

CPA certification
Experience with financial software systems
