Job Description:

This role is essential for maintaining financial procedures and ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Accurately process financial transactions related to accounts payable and receivable
Utilize spreadsheet software to create spreadsheets and report on financial results
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Meet financial accounting objectives
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role is necessary
Proficiency in Excel is mandatory
Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is needed
Experience in preparing financial statements and reports is required
A strong understanding of tax codes and laws is expected
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data are needed
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly is required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is expected
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary
Strong organizational skills and capability to manage time effectively are required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
Experience with accounting software and databases is necessary
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency is expected
