Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Manufacturing Industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting activities, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the process of account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances
  • Manage bank reconciliations to validate our financial records
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate representation of financial transactions
  • Prepare journal entries for the proper allocation of revenue and expenses
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures
  • Implement and manage financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes

Requirements:

  • Experience in public accounting and private industry
  • CPA preferred
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures and techniques
  • Demonstrated expertise in balance sheet reconciliation
  • Solid experience in conducting bank reconciliations
  • Familiarity with general ledger management and operations
  • Proficiency in creating and managing journal entries
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in performing month-end close processes effectively and accurately
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite for accounting and financial management
  • Familiarity with Oracle for financial data management and operations
  • Experience in using SAP for accounting and financial management in a manufacturing industry
  • Proven ability to adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with team members and other stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a similar qualification
  • Minimum of five years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve department and company goals
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and making informed decisions
  • Solid problem-solving skills to identify and resolve accounting issues promptly and effectively
