Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Manufacturing Industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting activities, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the process of account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances
Manage bank reconciliations to validate our financial records
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate representation of financial transactions
Prepare journal entries for the proper allocation of revenue and expenses
Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data
Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures
Implement and manage financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes

Requirements:

Experience in public accounting and private industry
CPA preferred
Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures and techniques
Demonstrated expertise in balance sheet reconciliation
Solid experience in conducting bank reconciliations
Familiarity with general ledger management and operations
Proficiency in creating and managing journal entries
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
Experience in performing month-end close processes effectively and accurately
Working knowledge of NetSuite for accounting and financial management
Familiarity with Oracle for financial data management and operations
Experience in using SAP for accounting and financial management in a manufacturing industry
Proven ability to adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with team members and other stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a similar qualification
Minimum of five years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve department and company goals
Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and making informed decisions
Solid problem-solving skills to identify and resolve accounting issues promptly and effectively
