Job Description:

This vital role contributes significantly to our financial procedures, including the recording of journal entries, managing intercompany transactions, and administering accounts receivable. The Sr. Accountant will also play a crucial part in enhancing our financial accuracy through cost analysis and reconciliation tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute to the financial closing process for accurate and timely reporting
Record and manage intercompany transactions, including monthly reconciliation
Carry out bank reconciliations, ensuring cleared items are properly recorded
Utilize ERP system for transaction recording and generating financial insights to aid management decision-making
Oversee the processing of accounting receivable and incoming payments in adherence to financial policies and procedures
Administer the accounts receivable collection process, including the resolution of outstanding balances and facilitation of invoice payments
Handle customer billing process and invoice submissions
Maintain and reconcile metal inventory records, including the preparation of monthly reports
Manage the onboarding process for new customers and vendors
Update standard costs annually or as needed in collaboration with Engineering, Customer Service, and Production departments
Support ad hoc requests and improvement initiatives to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency
Generate and review financial and operational reports, providing insights for external audits
Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships across departments

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Adept at performing Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with General Ledger operations
Ability to make accurate Journal Entries
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in performing Month End Close tasks
Familiarity with NetSuite is highly desirable
Proficiency in Oracle is a plus
SAP skills are highly valued
Experience in Cost Accounting
Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is a plus
Knowledge of Standard Cost Accounting is highly desirable
