Job Description:

We are on the hunt for a skilled Sr. Accountant to be a part of our team in Oxnard, California. Your role will be crucial in managing our accounting operations, particularly in areas such as inventory control, cost analysis, and general ledger. As a Sr. Accountant, your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements and preparing and analyzing financial reports.

Job Responsibility:

Overseeing accounting operations for inventory
Conducting cost analysis
Preparing and examining monthly financial reports and forecast updates
Ensuring adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Handling journal entries and the General Ledger
Providing support for annual audit preparation
Utilizing advanced Excel for accounting operations and reporting
Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
Maintaining accurate customer credit records
Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Strong skills in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
Knowledge of General Ledger management
Experience with Journal Entries
Microsoft Excel expertise
Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
Proficiency in using Famous software
Ability to conduct Cost Analysis
Experience in Inventory Analysis
Mastery of Excel Formulas

Nice to have:

Proficiency in using Famous software
