Job Description:

We are in search of a proficient Sr. Accountant to become a part of our team in Houston, Texas. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with the responsibility of handling account reconciliation, managing the general ledger, and conducting bank reconciliations. You will also be expected to proficiently use software tools such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct thorough account reconciliation to ensure accuracy
Perform balance sheet reconciliation to maintain financial transparency
Carry out bank reconciliations to verify the company's records against those of the bank
Oversee the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded
Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions
Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and create reports
Participate in the month-end close process to finalize financial records for the month
Leverage NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes

Requirements:

Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Strong understanding and experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Prior experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
Solid background in managing the General Ledger
Expertise in creating and managing Journal Entries
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in conducting Month End Close activities
Prior experience with NetSuite software is desirable
Familiarity with Oracle software is a significant advantage
Experience in using SAP is highly beneficial

Nice to have:

Prior experience with NetSuite software
Familiarity with Oracle software
Experience in using SAP
