Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the cyber security technology industry, based in New York, NY. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with managing various financial projects, assisting in the implementation of Oracle Fusion, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting external audit requests.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and assisting with external audit requests
conducting account and balance sheet reconciliation
providing support in the implementation of Oracle Fusion
carrying out month and quarter closing procedures
ensuring the accuracy of financial records
working at a brisk pace with minimal guidance
utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
applying knowledge of General Ledger in daily tasks
utilizing CPA or CPA Designation skills for advanced accounting tasks

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of accounting
proficiency in account reconciliation
strong knowledge and experience with the general ledger
adept at using Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
experience with Oracle accounting software
familiarity or experience with high-technology industries is an added advantage
must hold a CPA certification
possessing a CPA Designation is highly desirable
