We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the service industry, based in North Charleston, South Carolina. Job Responsibility:

Conduct Account and Balance Sheet Reconciliations to ensure all financial reporting is accurate
Manage Bank Reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
Maintain the General Ledger, updating and verifying financial data
Prepare and post Journal Entries, providing accurate record of company's financial transactions
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
Participate in the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for
Implement and manage financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline financial operations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in a Senior Accountant role
Comprehensive understanding of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
In-depth knowledge of cost accounting and regulatory standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
Familiarity with financial software such as Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite
Exceptional skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
Deep understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries
Capability to manage the Month End Close process efficiently
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail oriented
Strong analytical skills and ability to make projections
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
