Job Description:

The Sr. Accountant will serve as the point of contact for several of the company's registered and private funds across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with senior members of the fund administration team and third-party administrators. Responsibilities include fund reporting, financial statement preparation, regulatory filings, and coordination with various internal teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Job Responsibility:

Point of contact for several of the company's registered and private funds in United States, Canada, Ireland, and Luxembourg
Work with senior members of the fund administration team
Own relationships with funds’ third-party administrators and key vendors
Preparation, review and understanding impactful issues regarding fund reporting
Key support contact for fund board members
Partner with third-party administrators and external auditors to prepare and issue funds’ financial statements and regulatory filings
Coordinate with teams across the firm in sales, client service, legal, operations, and corporate finance
Construct analyses regarding product development and new initiatives
Assist portfolio management teams with ad hoc portfolio reporting requests or investor related questions
Utilize Advent Geneva portfolio accounting system
Review functions’ processes to ensure efficiencies
Partner with fund’s third-party tax preparers to generate investor tax deliverables

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience in public accounting or the Financial Services industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Self-starter with a strong work ethic, results orientation, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word required
Working knowledge of Powerpoint
CPA designation a plus
