Job Description:

The detail-oriented individual will be working in the real estate industry, focusing on spec home building, house flipping, and real estate brokerage. The role requires managing general accounting functions, overseeing property accounting, and supporting the financial needs of the company’s various ventures.

Job Responsibility:

Facilitate accurate and timely financial reporting with minimal supervision
Manage general accounting functions such as budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliations
Oversee all aspects of property accounting, with a focus on multifamily real estate operations
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to support the financial needs of the company’s diverse ventures
Assist in the formulation of financial strategy, management of cash flow, and tracking of investments
Maintain and process customer credit applications efficiently
Ensure up-to-date customer credit records are maintained
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Senior Accountant
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience
Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
Solid understanding of General Ledger
Experience in creating and maintaining Journal Entries
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Must have experience in Month End Close procedures
