Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a non-profit Sr. Accountant in Reading, Pennsylvania. As part of our team, your responsibilities will predominantly revolve around the management and reconciliation of financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct regular bank reconciliations
Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Collaborate with grant managers and endowment officers
Prepare and review financial reports
Assist in the preparation of schedules and documentation for external auditors
Ensure the proper recording and tracking of endowment contributions
Monitor and reconcile restricted funds
Maintain accurate records for all accounting transactions
Stay informed about accounting regulations
Assist with year-end closing processes

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations
Ability to manage and maintain General Ledger
Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Month End Close processes
