Job Description:

This role revolves around the finance industry, with a focus on maintaining and managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. The Sr. Accountant will be tasked with handling month-end close processes and journal entries, along with various other duties.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage the month-end close process for accurate financial reporting
Prepare and enter journal entries into the accounting system
Handle credit card and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data
Review accounts payable, expenses, journal entries, and reconciliations from Staff Accountant to ensure accuracy
Prepare financial statements for review and analysis
Foster good communication within the team and show a willingness to learn new processes and systems
Exhibit initiative in managing and improving accounting functions
Utilize knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes
Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate records of the company's financial transactions

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Must have experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with General Ledger management
Capable of creating and managing Journal Entries
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and its applications in accounting
Experience with Month End Close procedures
Knowledge and hands-on experience with NetSuite software is beneficial
Familiarity with Oracle financial software is a plus
Prior experience with SAP accounting software is desirable

Nice to have:
