Job Description:

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant who will be instrumental in managing financial operations, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role revolves around the preparation of financial reports, analysis of financial trends, and maintenance of internal controls.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports for management review
Analyze financial trends, costs, revenues, and obligations to predict future financial performance
Accurately maintain accounting records by compiling and logging financial transactions
Adhere to GAAP and company financial policies to ensure compliance
Aid in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
Identify and reconcile any financial discrepancies in accounts
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Coordinate activities and answer queries to guide and support accounting clerical staff
Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Continuously improve accounting policies and internal controls to enhance the accuracy of financial data

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Demonstrated experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations efficiently
Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management
Proficient in crafting Journal Entries
High-level competency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Month End Close process is essential
