Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Warwick, Rhode Island. As a Sr. Accountant, your role will be multifaceted, encompassing a range of responsibilities from account reconciliation to month-end closing. You'll play an integral part in maintaining the financial health of the organization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately perform account reconciliation to ensure financial records are precise
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to validate that all entries are accounted for and properly posted
Execute bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank statements
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
Prepare and post journal entries, providing accurate record of company transactions
Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Conduct month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data has been recorded and reconciled
Operate NetSuite for accounting functions and reporting
Use Oracle for financial management, including data analysis and reporting
Employ SAP for business operations and customer relations

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with General Ledger
Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
Experience in executing Month End Close procedures
Knowledge of NetSuite
Familiarity with Oracle
Experience with SAP
