Job Description:

The Senior Accountant must have strong expertise in global consolidations and NetSuite to join their finance team. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing critical accounting support during a project phase or period of transition.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage global consolidations for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS
Leverage NetSuite expertise to review, maintain, and optimize financial data and reporting
Prepare and analyze complex consolidated financial statements and reconciliations
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Assist with audits by providing accurate and timely financial data as requested
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of intercompany transactions and eliminations
Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reporting and consolidation processes
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in global accounting operations

Requirements:

7+ years of accounting experience required, preferably in a global and dynamic organization
Strong expertise in global consolidations with foreign subsidiaries and intercompany eliminations
NetSuite proficiency is a must, with proven experience managing financial data and reports within the platform
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP (and IFRS if applicable) and its application to consolidated financial reporting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in the entertainment industry or another fast-paced, creative environment is a big plus
CPA designation or equivalent is preferred but not required
