Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent Sr. Accountant to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, resolving account discrepancies, and ensuring financial reporting accuracy. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. This is a primarily on-site position with some flexibility for remote work, when necessary.

Job Responsibility:

Accurate processing and reconciliation of accounts
Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
Executing bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Maintaining and updating the general ledger
Preparing and posting journal entries as required
Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
Ensuring timely month end close processes
Operating NetSuite for financial management and operations
Accurately recording accruals and amortizations
Performing other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Must have a solid understanding of Bank Reconciliations
Knowledge of General Ledger management
Capable of handling Journal Entries accurately
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
Experience with NetSuite software is a plus
Expertise in managing Accruals
Understanding of Amortization processes

Nice to have:

Experience with NetSuite software
Expertise in managing Accruals
