Job Description:

We are embarking on an exciting journey and we need a talented Sr. Atlassian Jira Engineer to join our team. Based in Costa Mesa, California, this role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team across various industries, leading technical and product initiatives for the Atlassian suite of products. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity, offering long-term engagement and growth.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the installation, management, and administration of Jira and Confluence instances along with their add-ons
Develop creative technical solutions, facilitate crucial processes, and deliver hands-on solutions to challenges that cannot be solved using standard Enterprise Solutions
Collaborate with various teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to implement processes related to the Atlassian suite
Handle issues related to Jira Projects and Confluence in coordination with project leads
Conduct training sessions for employees on the usage of Jira and Confluence tools as well as new functionalities
Utilize features such as Insight, Advanced Roadmaps, Sheets, Structures, Automation for Jira, Checklists, and Calendars
Build workflows and automation to enhance self-service usage of Atlassian products
Deliver demonstrations and training sessions to stakeholders, ensuring maximum utilization of the Atlassian Suite of products

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sr. Atlassian Jira Engineer or in a similar role
Proficient in Atlassian Jira, JIRA, Jira Service Management, and Jira Service Desk
Extensive knowledge and experience in Atlassian
Familiarity with API - Application Programming Interface and API management
Strong skills in PowerShell Scripting and PowerShell
Experience with Apache Groovy
Proficiency in JavaScript
Excellent knowledge and experience in Python and Python Scripting
Familiarity with Confluence is required
