Job Description:

We are in search of a Sr. Billing Manager to join our client's IT Software team located in Westlake, TX. As a Sr. Billing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our billing operations, collaborating with various teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency of our billing processes.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements that improve billing operations
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and accuracy of billing processes
Evaluate current billing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement best practices for enhanced accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with Account Management and Sales teams to understand customer needs and ensure timely and accurate billing
Lead and mentor the billing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure billing operations comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and contractual obligations
Identify potential risks in the billing process and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize billing processes that align with overall financial and operational goals
Monitor and report on billing performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
Serve as a key partner to Account Management and Sales teams to address customer inquiries, resolve billing disputes, and enhance overall customer satisfaction

Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the IT Software industry
Proficiency in accounting software systems
3+ years in a managerial position within billing
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions
Experience implementing a billing system is preferred
Demonstrated experience in billing
Familiarity with billing functions and software
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Strong leadership skills
Experience with NetSuite, D365, Oracle, and Dynamics AX
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
