Job Description:

Robert Half Lexington is hiring for a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Customer Service Representative in the hospitality industry, located in Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves researching and securing hotel accommodations, maintaining relationships with hotel contacts, and handling rate negotiations. The position requires prior customer service/call center experience and offers benefits such as medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.

Job Responsibility:

Research and secure hotel options for extended stays
negotiate with hotels to secure the best possible rates
maintain strong relationships with hotel contacts
handle reservation requests
identify and resolve issues with clients and hotels
meet or exceed client deadlines
consult with clients to choose the best hotel option
collaborate with Account Management teams
attend scheduled trainings and meetings
utilize knowledge of the hotel industry and regional markets

Requirements:

Prior customer service/call center experience
prior sales experience in a call center environment preferred
proven experience in the hospitality industry
proficient in contract negotiation
exceptional client relations skills
strong interpersonal and communication skills
ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
ability to work independently and as part of a team
strong problem-solving skills
excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
high level of professionalism
flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or on public holidays

Nice to have:

prior sales experience in a call center environment
