Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Tax plays a pivotal leadership role, combining technical tax expertise with strong organizational and supervisory capabilities. In this position, you will oversee the preparation of tax filings, guide tax-planning initiatives, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with evolving tax legislation.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee, supervise, and review the preparation of tax filings and required disclosure statements for clients
Conduct in-depth research and documentation regarding issues related to tax returns
Lead and execute tax-planning initiatives to optimize tax positions for clients
Monitor, analyze, and advise on the impact of new legislation and regulatory changes related to taxes
Manage a team of tax staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance reviews

Requirements:

CPA designation required
At least 5 years of experience in tax services in public accounting
Advanced proficiency with Excel and commonly used tax software applications
Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to thrive under tight deadlines
Skilled communicator with experience in team supervision and training
Proven ability to contribute to professional and community outreach
Master's degree in taxation is highly valued
