Job Description:

The Sr Manager of DC Operations is responsible for the overall performance of assigned operational areas within a distribution center. The individual will focus on employee engagement, talent development, staffing, and achieving profit and expense goals while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Support the short and long-term strategy for the assigned DC(s)
Optimize facility product flow and building capacity
Participate in meetings/calls with corporate partners
Champion innovation and strategic goals
Analyze areas of opportunity within the DC
Ensure timely deliveries
Partner with HR and hiring resources to achieve staffing targets
Achieve productivity and quality metrics
Drive continuous improvement and compliance with regulations
Ensure floor presence and engage with colleagues
Encourage year-round engagement and feedback
Provide excellent training experiences
Develop robust talent pools
Improve efficiency and embrace organizational initiatives
Cascade ownership of continuous improvement to leadership team
Provide constructive feedback and drive change agility

Requirements:

3+ years prior experience in retail or distribution/warehousing
3+ years leading exempt level colleagues
3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with developing talent

Nice to have:

Able to drive significant strategic projects to completion independently
5 to 8 years work experience
Regular and reliable attendance
Ability to work in environments that require frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management
Ability to work with all levels of the organization and across teams to collaborate with a variety of peers and leaders
Bachelor's Degree
