Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Software Developer to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in JOHNSTON, Iowa, United States. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where you will be responsible for developing solutions in various programming languages and ensuring a respectful and ethical work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Develop effective software solutions utilizing Python and C++
Utilize C#.NET and Structured Text for software development tasks
Ensure a safe working environment around common shop equipment
Uphold respect for the environment in all tasks and procedures
Function as a valued teammate, promoting respect and inclusivity within the team
Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines in the execution of duties
Participate in Agile Scrum processes and methodologies

Requirements:

Minimum of three years' experience working as a software developer, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Proficiency in Python, C++, and C Sharp Programming (C#)
Extensive experience in Agile Scrum methodology
Demonstrated ability to lead software development projects
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues
Strong understanding and experience in object-oriented programming
Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes
High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Familiarity with the manufacturing industry's specific software needs and challenges is a plus

Nice to have:

Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson and GStreamer
