Job Description:

We are looking to add a Sr. Software Engineer to our team based in Johnson City, Texas. The role will involve developing new software programs, enhancing existing software, and working closely with various stakeholders to meet their requirements. This opportunity does not specify contract duration.

Job Responsibility:

Create and implement algorithms and flowcharts to facilitate the development of new software programs and systems
Collaboratively work with management, different departments, and customers to understand end-user requirements and specifications
Develop, test, and launch applications and programs, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness
Regularly maintain and make necessary improvements to existing software for optimal performance
Debug and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the software systems
Regularly gather and evaluate user feedback to enhance software performance
Develop comprehensive technical documentation that will guide future software development projects
Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Stay updated with the latest advances in technology to integrate them into the software development process
Employ tools such as Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Business Logic, Client Side Scripting, Cloud Technologies, and others for efficient software development
Work on enhancing your skills in popular coding languages including Java, .Net, and frameworks or systems such as AngularJS and Git
Actively participate in Agile Scrum sessions and contribute to the team's performance
Show dedication towards regular and prompt attendance and carry out any other related duties as necessary or assigned

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years in a similar role
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira
Strong background in Backend Development
Ability to create and manage Business Logic
Experience in Client Side Scripting
Knowledge of Cloud Technologies
Familiarity with AB Testing procedures
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
Proficiency in Ajax
Experience in API Development
Proficiency in ASP.NET
