Job Description:

This role involves the execution and support of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) procedures to ensure compliance across different areas. It also requires frequent interaction with senior management, divisions, subsidiaries, external auditors, and corporate accounting teams.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) methodology, reporting, and compliance efforts, focusing on SOX 404 compliance
Assist with SOX 404 compliance scoping and scheduling activities, contributing to the timely completion of compliance efforts annually
Act as a key contact for external auditors, addressing their queries and comments
Collaborate with the Internal Audit group when necessary, including participation as a guest auditor
Execute remediation testing for audit findings
Support conferences for audit committees and controller organizations
Assist in managing the audit management system
Advocate for Accounting and Financial Reporting macro business processes
Establish effective working relationships with stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, and Operations

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience in developing and implementing Audit Programs
Familiarity with Business Systems and their applications
Knowledge of Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (CobiT)
Ability to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
Comprehensive understanding of various Accounting Functions
Experience in presenting to and working with Audit Committees
Competence in documenting and communicating Audit Findings
Proven track record in executing Auditing tasks
Ability to develop and manage effective Audit Plans
