Job Description:

The Accountant will be a crucial member of our team, handling a variety of tasks including processing transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing support to our clients and suppliers. This role is primarily focused on revenue accounting and billing processes for product lines.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately and efficiently process client billing and revenue accounting operations for a specific product line
Assist in the entry of supplier invoices for both US and international subsidiaries
Execute and record month-end revenue accrual and COGS journal entries, inclusive of intercompany entries
Conduct thorough balance sheet account reconciliations and financial data analysis to ensure accuracy
Review existing and new client and supplier contracts to guarantee appropriate accounting treatment
Engage with clients and suppliers to address issues and provide necessary support
Collaborate closely with other business units to fulfill business requirements and identify process enhancements
Support with external audit deliverables and internal process documentation when required
Monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
Cross-train with the Finance team to share knowledge and improve process understanding
Prepare ad hoc financial reporting and analysis and undertake special projects as required

Requirements:

Minimum of three years of experience in the accounting field, with a focus on revenue accounting
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with General Ledger handling
Adept at making Journal Entries
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Previous experience in NetSuite or Salesforce CRM would be highly preferred
Experience with a SaaS or subscription based organization would be beneficial
Experience in performing Month End Close
Ability to Analyze Revenues
