Job Description:

The Staff Accountant will be a vital part of our financial department and will be responsible for managing various aspects of our accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and assisting in monthly closings.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger
Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments
Aid in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and bank reconciliations
Assist in the month-end closing process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
Develop periodic reports for management
Provide assistance and support to company personnel
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in financial reports and statements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of accounting software and systems
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Understanding of accounting principles and regulations
Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills
