Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Macedonia, Ohio. Renowned in the Accounting industry, our team is seeking a meticulous individual to handle customer applications, maintain customer records, and resolve customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Job Responsibility:

Handling customer inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
Accurately processing customer credit applications
Maintaining precise customer credit records
Timely communication with customers to collect past due balances
Assisting in the improvement of processes that impact the financial statements
Collaborating with manufacturing sites and corporate departments
Aiding in monthly reporting procedures
Preparing financial information for external accountants and auditors
Conducting daily and weekly cash flow reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated experience with bank reconciliations
Solid understanding of the General Ledger and Journal Entries
Skilled in performing Month End Close procedures
Proficiency in using SAP for accounting tasks
Strong ability to perform Financial Analysis
Experience with MRP ERP System
Familiarity with Major ERP System
Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ethical conduct and adherence to financial laws and guidelines
