Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Agriculture sector, based in Loveland, Colorado. The selected candidate will play a vital role in managing accounting functions, including maintaining ledger accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately processing customer credit applications and ensuring efficiency
Maintaining precise customer credit records
Resolving any customer inquiries related to accounting issues
Regular monitoring of customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions
Handling the General Ledger and Journal Entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Performing Month End Close activities diligently
Utilizing SAP for various accounting operations
Computing and analyzing Profit & Loss calculations
Performing account reconciliation tasks regularly
Using Vistex for various accounting procedures
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, preferably in the agriculture industry
Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly SAP and Vistex
Strong knowledge and understanding of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close procedures
Demonstrated experience with journal entries and account reconciliation
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
Experience in Profit & Loss (P & L) calculations and financial forecasting
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
