Job Responsibility:
Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for client assignments
Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and standards
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations professionals, to address accounting discrepancies and develop efficient processes
Assist with audits, whether internal or external, by gathering and organizing required documentation
Support budgeting and forecasting processes for various client organizations
Advise clients with research on accounting standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., GAAP)
Adapt quickly to fit seamlessly into client teams, maintaining professionalism and representing Robert Half’s high standards of service
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
3+ years of accounting experience, with a solid understanding of GAAP principles and practices
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar tools
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and data manipulation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with great attention to detail
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the flexibility to thrive in various team settings
CPA and/or MBA is a plus, but not required
Willingness to travel to local client offices for assignments (if applicable)
