Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our client's team based in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our financial processes, supporting numerous locations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the processing of financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and reports
Assist franchise owners with financial processes, reporting, and inquiries related to QuickBooks
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and intercompany accounts
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper recording of transactions
Prepare and review month-end financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Record and track accruals, prepaid expenses, and adjusting journal entries
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for franchise locations and corporate leadership
Ensure adherence to accounting policies, franchise agreements, and industry regulations

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position
Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently
Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger management
Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries
Proven skills in conducting Month End Close activities
Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
