Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant in High Point to manage daily financial transactions, maintain records, and support accounting inquiries. The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibility:

Managing the daily processing of cash receipts, deposits, and credit card transactions
ensuring accurate posting to customer accounts
maintaining both electronic and paper records of A/R customers
processing billing and managing related files
balancing and maintaining the A/R subsidiary ledger
preparing general ledger entries
conducting account reconciliations
providing support in answering accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting data

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
minimum of 2 years of experience in general staff accounting
ability to perform accurate work efficiently in accordance with established policies
strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
good problem-solving skills
capable of multitasking effectively in a team environment
comfortable interacting with other employees on a daily basis
