Job Description:

This position plays a critical role in maintaining financial procedures, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As part of the team, you will help streamline financial operations, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with contracts and applicable laws.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create and process invoices, calculate vacancy penalties, and provide supporting documentation to clients in alignment with contractual obligations
  • Oversee financial transactions, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely, accurate manner
  • Perform accounting tasks and record revenues and expenditures in compliance with GAAP
  • Maintain and continuously update revenue tracking sheets according to contractual requirements
  • Track accounts receivable (AR) and ensure timely client payments
  • Prepare and file month-end journal entries to support the monthly close process
  • Conduct monthly profit and loss (P&L) analysis for assigned contracts
  • Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports for clients and executive leadership
  • Reconcile monthly balance sheets, resolving outstanding variances promptly
  • Monitor and manage client contracts while maintaining strong working relationships with clients by responding to requests and inquiries efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial operations, improve turnaround times, and increase overall team efficiency
  • Assist with audits and other financial reviews as necessary
  • Take ownership of ad hoc finance projects or tasks, as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate-level skills
  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience, preferably in healthcare accounting
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Cosmos
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret client contracts
  • Familiarity with financial confidentiality and compliance guidelines
