Job Description:

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Garden Grove, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and presenting financial statements to the team.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and process 300-350 accounts payable invoices on a monthly basis
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and balance sheet
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Prepare and present financial statements to the team
Record journal entries as part of the accounting process
Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial management and reporting
Oversee the month-end close process
Develop knowledge of cost goods as part of the financial overview
Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently
Maintain meticulous customer credit records

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or a similar position
Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated experience in performing bank reconciliations
Knowledge and understanding of general ledger operations
Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately
Experience in handling month-end close procedures
Proficiency in using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites for daily administrative tasks
