Job Description:

We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. As a Staff Accountant, you will be accountable for managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), conducting general accounting and consulting, and handling payroll. You will also be expected to work with various ERP systems and perform monthly close operations.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the overall financial reporting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
Oversee payroll operations and ensure accuracy in disbursements
Conduct general ledger operations and maintain Journal Entries
Be responsible for month-end close operations
Work with various ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP
Manage bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity
Use QuickBooks for various accounting operations
Provide general accounting and consulting services when necessary

Requirements:

Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
Proficient in performing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks
Well-versed with Bank Reconciliations
Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger operations
Proficient in preparing Journal Entries
Experienced in Month End Close procedures
Familiar with NetSuite accounting software
Comfortable using Oracle financial software
Skilled in handling accounting tasks on QuickBooks
Experience with SAP financial software is desirable
