Job Description:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), performing bank reconciliations, and making journal entries.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy
Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Provide backup support for bulk billing of clients
Adapt to an 'as needed role' which may require shifting between AP and AR tasks
Learn and utilize Unanet software for various accounting tasks
Manage the revision and issuance of invoices
Post cash receipts to maintain accurate financial records
Support other team members by taking over responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including invoice processing and vendor communication
Demonstrated experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including billing, collections, and customer service
Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are resolved
Experience in recording Journal Entries, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit processes
Proficiency in using Unanet software for project management, resource planning, and financial performance analysis
