Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, located in West Valley, Utah. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling the Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately processing customer credit applications
Maintaining precise records of customer credit
Resolving customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner
Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary
Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Conducting bank reconciliations
Maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries
Assisting with month-end close procedures
Utilizing NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
Proficient in the use of accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Skilled in conducting bank reconciliations
Capable of managing the general ledger
Proficient in creating accurate journal entries
Experience in performing month-end close procedures
Background in the Hi Tech Engineering industry is desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adherence to detail oriented ethics and confidentiality
