Job Description:

In this role, you will play a vital part in various general accounting functions, such as accounts payable, cash applications, treasury, credit and collections, taxes, month-end close, and job costing. Additionally, you will be involved in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and the preparation of monthly journal entries.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the accounts payable function
Keep a record of incoming payments and other bank activities
Engage in conversations with customers to request payments
Prepare essential financial reports
Carry out job transactions in the ERP
Participate in the month-end close process
Gather data for state and local sales tax returns
Undertake ad hoc projects
Monitor compliance with accounting principles
Collaborate with team members
Utilize strong math and computer skills

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
Open to Associates Degree in Accounting with 2+ years of experience
1+ years of experience
