Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the manufacturing industry, based in Beaufort, South Carolina, 29906, United States. The role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, with responsibilities including the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

efficiently process customer credit applications
maintain and update customer credit records with accuracy
resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
manage the accounting close process
utilize accounting software systems for data entry and record-keeping
conduct gap analysis to ensure financial accuracy and transparency
manage the month end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and general ledger updates
reconcile balance sheet account and bank statements
handle year-end closings, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date

Requirements:

high level of organization
attention to detail
proficiency in Accounting close process
knowledge of Accounting Software Systems
capability to perform Bank Reconciliations
proficient in Gap Analysis
experience in Month End Close activities
ability to Reconcile Balance Sheet Account
proficiency in Reconciling Bank Statements
experience in Year End Closings
knowledge of General Ledger operations
capability to prepare and review Journal Entries
